The Elbe meadows are just behind the building, a lovely place for a walk, and there's a little coffee shop at Schillerplatz where we enjoyed a good morning coffee by the river. Bus and train stops are a three-minute walk away, with shops close by too. The apartment was beautifully furnished, and the people were genuinely friendly. We were very happy with the location and thought the price was absolutely fair. A perfect score from us!

We stayed in holiday apartment 1, owned by the Wünsche family, from April 1st to April 3rd, 2017. The terrace area had a garden gate that could be closed, which we liked, especially for families with small children or a dog. The apartment was clean and quiet, and the owners' photos on Travanto matched what we found. They described the furnishings as functional, and we felt comfortable there. We can't understand the earlier negative review. We didn't find anything comparable for the location and price. Dresden has so much variety, and although our stay was much too short, we'd love to come back.

The tram stop is just around the corner, and restaurants, snack bars and shops are nearby. The apartment is central but quiet, and parking is available. There are a few steps to get in, but the slight incline makes them manageable. It's a really lovely place, and the hostess is extremely nice.

After driving 600km for a week-long booking, we arrived to find a basement full of junk, with the basement doors simply hidden by a curtain. The landlady said, "Yes, we need to renovate again." We left after 10 minutes and drove home. I've never had a Dresden trip ruined like that. We'd already paid the full amount in advance, and in our opinion this borders on fraud.
