The room was under the roof on the fourth floor, so it got hot and humid. The lift only reaches the third floor, which meant carrying our luggage up one flight, though that was manageable. The portable air conditioner didn’t work very well, so we had to leave the windows open for fresh air. Even so, the stay was excellent value, and there was enough free street parking. The tram made it easy to get into central Dresden. We’d definitely stay again. The hotel was wonderful, with a very professional and helpful welcome. Everything was clean, and our room was extremely spacious, with two double beds, a huge bathroom, and a small balcony with amazing views.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The hotel has more of a boutique feel, and it’s a good choice if you don’t need to be downtown. The young staff were very helpful. Our room was big, nice, clean and tidy, and the bathroom was immaculate. We came by car, so getting around was easy. There’s free parking in front, and the internet worked well.

The location and price are good, and the place is clean, but the beds and Wi-Fi need attention. A reliable internet connection mattered a lot on this trip, and the hotel’s Wi-Fi was so bad that calling it free Wi-Fi felt like a joke. The bed was terribly uncomfortable, almost like sleeping on the floor. The receptionist who checked me in didn’t speak English and wasn’t very friendly, though the new guy the next day was very helpful.

The bathroom was huge, and the Wi-Fi worked okay most of the time. The place is a bit run down, with dirty carpets, stained furniture and a really strange bed, as shown in the photo. Trams into downtown are nearby, and street parking is free if you can find a space. Breakfast costs extra, but the buffet is nice and worth it.

It’s not a fancy, sparkling hotel, but Hotel Windsor covers the basics and is fine for a budget overnight stay. The room was clean, with big beds, and the double room had a large bathroom. Breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
