The apartment was very tidy and clean, although I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for people with allergies. We found it comfortable, in a lovely location, and good value, with great parking too. Some furnishings could use attention. The coffee machine didn't work, there weren't many glasses or dishes, and the upholstered chair was wet and unusable. The curtains were okay, though I would've liked them a little less sheer. I'd still rate it around 3-4 stars and would definitely recommend it.

We'd gladly stay here again. It's a charming, authentically furnished apartment with plenty of space, and a good base for heading to Dresden, the Elbe Sandstone Mountains and Bastei, or the Czech Republic. For four people, the limited cutlery and glasses were enough. The price felt fair. There were a few small cleaning misses in dark spots, like behind the sofa.

We felt very comfortable and would come back once the building work is done. The temporary construction was the only drawback, since it woke us in the mornings. Our spacious, well-equipped two-bedroom apartment was on the first floor and had a balcony with a small seating area. The bedrooms face the street, so open windows let in some traffic noise, but it was lovely and quiet with them shut. Check-in was easy, and the apartment was very clean. The large bathroom had several towels for each of us.

The road outside can be a bit noisy if you're not used to it. Apart from that, we'd definitely recommend the place. The apartment was spotless, with modern, high-quality furnishings in very good shape, and it had everything we needed, even coffee. It's around 20 minutes from Dresden city center and about 30 minutes from hiking spots like Pfaffenstein, Lilienstein, and Labyrinth.
