Sommerfrische Lothramühle

Just the right spot for a bit of rest.

We had dinner at the Lotharmühle and were absolutely delighted. It’s a peaceful spot in nature near the reservoir, ideal for unwinding. After walking by the water, it was lovely to relax in the garden or the cozy parlor. The dining room has a warm, comfortable feel, and the menu has something for everyone. The prices are more than fair for the quality. The Müller family welcomed us with such genuine warmth and attentiveness that we felt at home as soon as we arrived. That kind of hospitality feels rare these days. A big thank you to them for this gem. We’ll definitely return, and highly recommend the Lotharmühle to anyone looking for excellent food and some quiet.

I was here for construction work and found the rooms clean, the location peaceful and the breakfast excellent. The landlady was very friendly, and there are spaces for campers too. I’d highly recommend staying here.

After a day of hiking, we stayed overnight at the Lothramühle and received fantastic service. The hotel is tucked into the woods, close to the lake and right on the circular trail around the reservoir. The hostess was incredibly kind and accommodating, doing everything she could to make sure we had what we needed. Our room was clean and a good size, and the night was wonderfully quiet. Thanks for the lovely stay, we highly recommend the Lothramühle!
