The breakfast was really good, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Still, the room was very cold, and the website said dinner was available even though there wasn’t any. In winter, staying here feels more like an adventure; summer would probably suit the place better. The workmen in the stairwell were also very loud at 6 a.m.

We loved the location, and the apartment was clean and roomy enough for four. The landlady made us feel very welcome and was so friendly.

The breakfast was generous, and the cakes were delicious. Ms. Dassen gave us a warm welcome when we arrived for our long weekend. She cooks, looks after the lovingly furnished place, and keeps updating it. Even our little special requests were taken care of, and we didn’t lack for anything. We’d wholeheartedly recommend her and hope she gets only the best guests!

The snack bar on site was world-class. My dog and I had a wonderful three days at the Alte Mühle, and we both felt at ease. The owner is fantastic and clearly puts a lot of passion into running the place. Our apartment was spotless, very cozy, and had everything we needed.

We’d happily come back. The owner was friendly and accommodating, and there was plenty of room for our group to sit together, both inside and outside. We were 15 people and 2 dogs for the weekend, which can be a lot for a guesthouse, but it was no problem here. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with lovely attention to detail. The food was delicious, and they were happy to accommodate special requests.
