The apartments are bright, comfortable, and welcoming, and the breakfast was perfect with everything we could want. Thanks so much for hosting us. I can highly recommend this place.

I keep coming back to Duhner Strandhus for a North Sea break. This year was my fourth visit. I first stayed twice in apartment S306 on the west-facing third floor, then twice in S302, also on the third floor, facing northwest just below the penthouse where breakfast is served. S302 has a corner balcony and both a partial and direct view of the North Sea. It's set up for two and has everything for a relaxing stay. If you'd rather cook, there are dishes, utensils, a two-burner ceramic cooktop, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, and a fridge with a roomy freezer compartment. I usually go for the breakfast buffet, served on the fourth floor from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. The sea view is magnificent, and for €9.90 per person there's a good range of food. There are two fully automatic coffee machines with specialties for different tastes, plus plenty of tea, water, and juices. The pictures give you a feel for "my" S302. I didn't photograph the underground garage parking space, but it's a real bonus: the elevator makes it easy to take luggage up and back down. I also have to mention how professionally Hamer Ferienappartements handled the booking. Their office is right next door.

From our balcony we could watch the ships go by, and the breakfast buffet had everything you'd want in the morning. The building has only two-person apartments, so it was fairly quiet. All in all, we were happy with the place.
