Dünenwind, Ferienwohnung 1

The bedroom in apartment 11 is reached by a wooden staircase leading downstairs, so it won’t work for wheelchair users. The place was otherwise quiet, but the furnishings felt a bit dated. The photos make it look brighter and more modern, and don’t show the huge wardrobe in the living area. The TV had ARD, ZDF, regional channels, and three private channels. Cable TV was advertised, so we expected more choice. You’re not out all day and may want to unwind in the evening. We’ve visited Cuxhaven for several years and have stayed in much better places for this price.

We booked on the same day, at short notice, and the landlord offered to send someone to clean. The bedroom still needed vacuuming, and the sofa bed mattress in the living and dining room wasn’t clean. Otherwise things were fine. It’s a lovely apartment and perfect for two, though less suited to three or four people. It’s on the third floor.

We loved apartment 13 on the ground floor, especially with our infant. We’ll be back. Highly recommended.

Clean and simply furnished in a practical way.
