I stayed in apartment no. 5 from September 19th to 23rd. Although it’s advertised as non-smoking, smoke from people on the neighboring balconies came into both the living room and bedroom day and night. That was especially bad for me as someone with asthma. The bathroom is tiny and badly needs renovation. The shower door is very hard to open, possibly because of all the rust, the sink faucet is peeling, and there’s mold everywhere, which is also toxic for asthmatics. The bedroom and living room are fine for one person but too small for two. I can’t recommend it.

We were in apartment 4 from August 16th to 18th, 2024. The location is the one good thing about it. The bed linen cost €32 for two people, but the pillows and duvets smelled of sweat and had no fresh covers. There was old, sticky soap left on the shower wall, and the bathroom trash hadn’t been emptied. Charging more than €70 for final cleaning is outrageous, especially when we found the apartment clean on arrival. For a short stay, the rental plus about €105 for dirty linen and final cleaning makes little sense. For the same price, you’d be better off booking a hotel, which might even include breakfast.

Check-in and check-out were easy and friendly, and the location is central. It was relatively clean, but the bathroom badly needs renovation. The fittings are peeling, and the shower cubicle is rusty and moldy. It took some courage to step inside. 🤢 Also, the little table is still missing from the balcony 😉

The good location didn’t make up for this apartment, especially with all the construction noise at the moment. We stayed in apartment 4 for a week and can’t recommend it. It felt musty, the upholstered furniture was so unappealing that we bought throws, and the beds creaked whenever we turned over. Cleanliness also left a lot to be desired. It’s a shame the owner just collects the rent without investing in the place.
