Glück Auf Appartements Schleiermacherstr

Everything was there, right down to the little details, and the place was very clean. I'll definitely come back.

For years I've arranged places to stay for my company and employees all over Germany, and Glück Apartments are among the best we've had. We used two modern apartments, each with two double bedrooms, a smart TV in every room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a spacious bathroom. Along with the usual things, they had a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, and iron with an ironing board, which is rare. Highly recommended for business travelers like us, or families exploring Duisburg and the surrounding area.

The location is really good, and check-in and checkout were easy. The tram and Rewe supermarket are just a five-minute walk away. There’s plenty of storage, and the apartment had all the basics and more, including towels, dish soap, and dishwasher tablets. The shower gets very slippery when wet, so be careful. On checkout day someone simply came in, saw another person was there, and left right away. I also found it a bit annoying that there’s no proper living room or couch, but it’s fine for a few days.

We had a lovely stay in this clean, practical apartment, and linens and towels were provided. We did miss having a microwave. Parking is very limited if you get back really late at night, but it’s still a place worth remembering.
