I chose the place for its location near the regattabahn. The owner was very friendly and accommodating, and the service was exceptional. There’s a small lounge with a stocked fridge, the rooms are clean, and breakfast is decent. It’s a charming property.

We never even got to stay, because our flights were cancelled due to unexpected strikes at German airports. That was outside our control, and I wrongly assumed the hotel would take it into account when considering our case. I understand flight cancellations aren’t the hotel’s fault either, but expecting us to pay for a stay we never had is absurd. The way they handled our unforeseen situation showed no consideration at all. The reception staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming, which was a shocking start, especially since good customer service is essential in this line of work. Looking back, we may have been lucky not to spend two nights there. I won’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

I travel a lot, and at this price I’d choose this hotel over ibis. Very nice.

The lounge is a great spot for a nightcap, with a well-stocked refrigerator, and parking is right across from the hotel. It’s a charming family-run place within sight of the stadium, with a very friendly welcome, excellent breakfast, and impeccable rooms. We’ll definitely come back.

The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the room was clean and cozy. The hosts were very friendly, and we felt welcome and at ease straight away. We were thrilled and will definitely be back. Thanks so much for everything :)
