The tram stop is only a three-minute walk away, though the city center takes about 30 minutes by tram. Parking was convenient at €17, and the room was very comfortable. We also got a welcome drink and a really excellent breakfast. If this hotel is aiming to be among Düsseldorf's best, it's doing a good job. I'd recommend it to families.

My room wasn't cleaned once during my six-night stay, and the price for what you get was terrible. The whole place felt more like an excuse for a hotel than a proper one. I rarely write negative reviews, but this was one of the worst stays I've had. Breakfast was very poor, and dinner and the other meals weren't any better. There were only two or three staff trying to deal with a lot of guests and breakfast service. They seemed overwhelmed and unmotivated, though I think poor management was the real issue, not the employees personally. I'd avoid eating here. My key card stopped working twice. After the second time, I raised my voice in frustration after a workday of over 12 hours, and an employee threatened to call the police just because I asked them to fix it. That felt completely unnecessary and unprofessional. Several colleagues and I were staying for a business trip. When we tried to cancel one room we didn't use, the hotel refused. I suspect they rented it to someone else, which may have caused confusion with the room allocations and the technical problems. The room access issue was a major hassle. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this hotel.

It was great how quiet the hotel was, tucked into a residential area. The staff were really friendly, and the lounge and elevator especially give the place a stylish feel. For the price, it's a great spot. There are several food places and grocery stores within walking distance, handy if you need snacks. My room was clean and well stocked, but not having a fridge was a bit annoying. There also isn't a phone to call reception. Since housekeeping comes every three days for sustainability, you have to go downstairs if you need help or run out of toiletries.
