The breakfast buffet was very nice, with lots of different fresh food. The house and restaurant have a charming old look, and the à la carte dishes were delicious, from fish to burgers and currywurst. It’s 50 metres from the beach, with clean, new interiors, though there’s no lift and some older rooms are still being renovated.

A great place to stay overnight with kids and dogs. The big, cozy sauna on the roof has a panoramic view of the Baltic Sea and is a relaxing way to unwind after a long drive.

The house looks pretty old, especially the bar and breakfast room, but we had a really nice stay. Our room had its own entrance and a view of the sea. I could have gone for a swim within five minutes, though at 8°C it wasn’t the easiest thing I’ve done. I’d come back! For dog owners, this may be the closest hotel in town to the dog walking beach. I’m not sure how the hotel handles dogs, but I think they’re allowed.

I stayed here about a year ago and the atmosphere was fantastic, one of the best hotels a Norwegian like me could wish for. I was happy when I woke up, and had a delicious “pussi foot coctail.” Breakfast was good too. A must.
