We booked the entire west wing at the last minute after finding the listing, and Karen at the winery / castle made it a fantastic stay. She was the kindest, most accommodating host. The historic building was beautiful, and our family of four had plenty of room with three bedrooms, a full kitchen, a living room, and a library. The wine and courtyard were fantastic too. It’s across the street from the river, close to the bus station, and about a 10 minute walk from the train station. The one thing that would have made it a 6+ star stay was having breakfast or snacks to go with the wine, like meats and cheeses. That was all we missed. A GREAT stay in ediger - Eller, highly recommend.

We had a really nice flamkuchen tonight with lovely Weiss Burgunder wine. It tasted great and wasn’t expensive. The garden of this 500 years building is peaceful and a lovely setting.

The host was amazing, and we had a great stay. The place has charming rooms, lots of antiquities, and looks newly renovated. Breakfast was super tasty, served in the rose garden beneath the ginkgo trees.

The hearty breakfast was a lovely start to the day, and we really enjoyed the wine tasting with the friendly hostess, followed by tarte flambée. This was our second stay in the east wing. The rooms are beautifully decorated and suit the building’s historic character. We’d love to return.

We were four and had a wonderful time in the east wing. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the rooms were clean and nicely furnished, with a good blend of antique and modern pieces. The winery is beautiful and well located, and the owners made us feel very welcome. They also offer wine tastings, weather permitting in the rose garden. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Karén!
