My room was much smaller than the photos I’d seen on booking.com. The owner seemed annoyed whenever I asked him questions. I guess he may be tired from handling so many guests on his own.

The place is close enough to the autobahn to be convenient, but far enough away to feel removed from it. The room was exceptionally clean, staff were very friendly, and they have their own Resturant. Good price, too. If you’re visiting the Hamburg area and want to save money while still having a very nice place to stay, look no further!

From the balcony, looking out over the pasture and horses was just magical. Studtmanns Gasthof is beautiful and peaceful, yet really convenient for exploring Hamburg. It feels a million miles from the city, and means you don’t have to stay in a cramped hotel with questionable parking. Everything was modern and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious in a lovely setting. The owners were so nice. We met Sylke and couldn’t have asked for more!
