I couldn't use my laptop for work or charge my phone after the power went out in my room for the entire night. It left me feeling cut off and seriously disrupted my stay. When I mentioned it to the morning receptionist, he compared outages to things that can happen at home instead of apologizing or trying to deal with it. My stay at Hotel Garni Leitl was well below what I expected, and future guests should know this may happen.

Everything was clean, and breakfast was alright. The reception service was great too. He waited for us even though we arrived after check-in time. Recommend!

The cleaning was especially frustrating: they woke me at 8 a.m. and came into the room without asking. The rooms were cold and pretty bad, the shared areas weren't good, and noise carried badly. Even getting a kettle was difficult. Only for emergencies, 3/10.

Breakfast was nice, but the place itself felt sad, almost like being in a hospital.

The buffet breakfast is included, and the staff were friendly. Rooms were comfortable and had private bathrooms. A great hotel in Eggenfelden.
