You feel welcome and at home as soon as you arrive. The house is spotless, with lovely attention to detail, and the hosts are friendly and helpful. I’ve stayed in lots of holiday homes and cabins, but this one is really amazing. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back soon.

The Rudolph family clearly puts a lot of care into this exceptionally clean holiday home, and they really look after their guests. That’s why I can’t understand negative reviews that don’t explain what went wrong.

We’ve stayed here three times now. It’s neat and clean, and the Rudolph family are very friendly and welcoming.

"em Biehl" is a lovingly restored old farmhouse, and it works really well for big family get-togethers or longer stays with extended family. The rooms are attractive, and every floor has a sink and toilet. Two of the three floors also have showers. The kitchen is fully equipped, with especially good quality cookware. There’s a hand mixer and microwave, plus WMF stainless steel pots and several good non-stick pans, so cooking feels like being at home. There are plenty of plates and dishes too, which isn’t always true of holiday rentals with dishwashers. Little essentials are all there, including dish soap, dishwasher tablets, tea towels, dishcloths, garbage and compost bags, liquid soap at every sink, and plenty of toilet paper. No need to bring those things. The stairs are steep, as you’d expect in an older house, so bring two stair gates if you’re coming with very young children. If you arrive in an electric car like we did, there’s a CEE 32A outlet in the barn next door. We charged for free, thank you! The area is great for walking and exploring, and the Swabian Alb is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. There’s a fantastic viewpoint about 20 minutes away, with a breathtaking view across the Alps. The Rudolf family deserves five stars for this wonderful house.
