The place doesn't feel set up to welcome guests, and we got the impression the landlord was just looking to make easy money. That's a shame. We wouldn't recommend staying here. The mattresses are so soft you sink down to the floor, with no slatted base, and the bed makes a loud creaking noise whenever you turn over. For two or three beds, there's just one narrow wardrobe and a drawer, with no hangers. There are three old fridges in the kitchen, and the dishes are a jumble of mismatched pieces. One bathroom is old but usable; the other was being renovated in August 2024, though it could still be used. The kitchen and bathroom are shared with the other tenants, so shower gel bottles may be empty and washed dishes left out. There are no bins in the rooms, and the courtyard is unlit after dark. Every room smelled of stale cigarette smoke, even though we were asked not to smoke inside when we arrived.

The bed linen was fresh and changed every week, which was a plus. The owner charges a low price, so luxury isn't something to expect. The furniture is a mix of different types and sets, and although it can be repaired, that would take at least 20 to 30 lat.

The staff were really friendly, and the room was very cheap, fine for a single night. The main road didn't bother me, but the other people staying in the guesthouse were very noisy at night. I'd stay again if I needed very, very cheap accommodation in the area.

For basic needs, this works well for the price. The place was cleaner than many reviews had led me to expect, and the beds were freshly made. In room 2 there was a small closet, a table, and three chairs, though no hangers, I suppose they had been moved. The bed does creak, it's right on the street, and the bathroom is shared, but the value for money is good.

I left straight away and wouldn't recommend anyone stay here. It smelled awful, felt incredibly unhygienic, and cleanliness clearly didn't seem to matter. I've seen a lot in my life, but this was beyond all of it. The locals were very unfriendly and didn't speak German. I wouldn't even give it one star.
