The staff are so welcoming and really focused on making things fun and comfortable for families. Kids can be kids while their parents get time to relax, eat in peace, or enjoy the sauna on their own. It brings back some of my favorite childhood memories. There’s lots to do nearby, including Wurzelrudies Erlebniswelt, Badegärten, and horse classes. At Badegärten, you can splash around in the pools, go down the slides, unwind in the hot tubs, or choose from a huge range of saunas. Children can join their parents in the saunas and learn how they work in a friendly setting. The bar has a cozy feel, great food, and a good selection of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks. It’s also a good area for kid-friendly skiing and hiking. A really lovely hotel for parents and children.

There’s plenty for kids here, from ride-on tractors and cars to a downstairs play area that feels like an indoor playground. The hotel is close enough to attractions, and the buffet at both breakfast and dinner is excellent, with lots to choose from. Our suite-style room was a good size, and the gym had a full set of dumbbells. The swimming pool was the biggest I’ve seen in a hotel in ages. The trampoline is only open on Saturdays, apparently because it was damaged in the past. There was also daytime construction noise, which made it hard for our toddler to nap.

The children's activity program was really nice, and there are places to walk or drive to around the Erzgebirge. The buffet has almost everything you could want, and the restaurant was brilliant. The rooms were clean and cozy. Everyone we met, from reception and restaurant service to the swimming pool and wellness areas, was so friendly. A very nice family hotel that I can definitely recommend.
