We only stopped in for lunch and a drink, since we weren't staying here. The service was quick and really friendly. We arrived at 14:40, just after the warm lunch service, so I had the Fleischsalat instead. It was fine, and the portion was generous, with bread on the side. We asked for a little butter and were surprised to be charged for what we used. Maybe that's normal around here, I'm not sure. Still, it was a pleasant lunch.

The food was very good and the service was great. The hotel is right in the center of Eichstätt, though the church bells may bother you if you're sensitive to them. We had a great stay.

Breakfast was too basic, and the food was only okay. The place seems to be all about beer. Our room felt bare, and the bathroom didn't smell fresh. Service was generally unfriendly, except for the girl at breakfast, who I think was a student. The hotel itself is very basic.

I can't comment on the rooms, but the food has always been good whenever I've been here. The central spot is handy for sightseeing too, with everything within walking distance.

We sat in the inner garden. It was dark, noisy, and stuffy, though it got a little better when the sunshade was pulled in. The waitress was kind and helpful, and the food was delicious. I recommend visiting.
