Gasthaus und Hotel zum Löwen

The owner and staff are what make this place stand out. They were consistently kind and helpful during my four-day business trip. The rooms were very clean, and the air conditioning worked strongly. You can find comfortable luxury hotels in plenty of places these days, but if I'm back in this area, I won't look anywhere else. Definitely recommend it!

Our dog was welcome everywhere, and the staff were lovely and welcoming. The rooms were comfortable, and the food was excellent, though a little expensive without being too hard on the wallet. Free EV charging for guests was a nice bonus. The railway line is close, so we heard the occasional train and low rumble, but it didn't disturb our sleep. We loved our stay with the dog and would definitely return.

The breakfast was delicious and varied, served at the table, which we appreciated. Extra dishes were made on request, helping avoid the usual buffet food waste. The kids enjoyed the sand pit, and there's even a separate kids' toilet in the downstairs bathroom. We found plenty of places to eat within a five-minute drive, and the onsite restaurant looked very appealing too. Hotel Loewen was modern and spotless, and everything went smoothly. We booked by phone at the last minute; the front desk employee patiently explained the different fees and helped us find the best option for our family of four. Everyone was friendly and helpful. A great place to stop, and we'll definitely be back. Thank you!

We hadn't planned to stay overnight. Heavy traffic pushed us off the highway, so we stopped on the spur of the moment for dinner. Five out of five!
