We spent three nights here in August 23, and Monika made us feel extremely welcome. She took time to suggest places to visit, where to go and what to eat. The rooms are spacious, the bed was comfortable, and each room has a private bathroom and shower. Everything was great, and we’ll definitely return. Ellenz is only 10km from cochem by car, so it’s very easy to reach. There’s a restaurant, cafe and supermarket nearby. We rented bikes in Cochem and rode along the river, which was lovely. It’s a cosy place to stay with everything close by, and I recommend it. Thanks, Monika!

We had three fantastic days and will definitely come back. Our hostess was super friendly, and the rooms were very clean. Breakfast was more than enough. Cochem is easy to get to by bike or bus, and we went to the lively wine festival in August, which you really have to experience. Wine lovers can also find a cellar opposite the hotel with a selection of delicious wines. Thanks, Monika.

We arrived very late during a nearby wine festival, but Monika made everything easy and explained it all clearly. Nothing seemed like too much trouble. We brought bikes, and there was space to store and charge them in the garage. Breakfast was excellent, and so was the wine. Monika is fantastic, and the location is a great base for exploring the area. Thanks again, we’ll be back soon!

The place is clean and charming, with a character all its own. Our hostess’s warmth and friendliness made us feel comfortable right away. That’s just how a holiday should start. We thought it was perfect 🤩

A lovely little guesthouse. Mrs. Heimes has very clean, nicely furnished rooms, and the breakfast tastes great too. It’s always worth a visit, and we’ll gladly come back.
