The lake view from the restaurant is lovely, and the place is cozy with good food. I’d come back if I had more time. For a quick lunch, though, go somewhere else: we waited 45 minutes after telling the waiter we only had 30 minutes. He was completely unprofessional and didn’t apologize, apparently blaming us for ordering an appetizer.

The dinner was great, especially the funny names of some dishes, and the friendly staff were quick to notice when we wanted another beer. Our room was clean and fairly spacious, with decor that suited the hotel’s name. The breakfast buffet is small but has what you need. The view over the lake would have been great if the weather had cooperated. What a great hotel. Highly recommended.

We forgot to book ahead, and the restaurant was already full with limited capacity during the pandemic, so we couldn’t eat there as planned. I’d suggest reserving a table, since you may not get one as a walk-in. The staff were nice and accommodating, and recommended Bikini Bar nearby, below by the port.

The lake view and sunset atmosphere were beautiful, and the waiters were friendly, though we had to wait a little for the bill. Our salads and bruschetta were okay, but not great. The warm bruschetta was odd and not what we expected. We also wish the staff could have offered water bowls for our dogs. In the heat, that was a big minus.

The service was very friendly, and the restaurant was acceptable. The food was ordinary for the price, which felt too high for the quality. That pricing might make sense in a major city center.
