The price felt fair for what you get. Service was good, and the staff were especially friendly by German standards. The tea was good quality too, a nice way to start the day. I liked the breakfast room, particularly the blue one near the terrace view, which had plenty of charm. The room itself was very clean and well looked after, with quality materials, though it wasn’t new. The shower worked perfectly. From the street-facing window, the view wasn’t charming, though it might be more instructive. I think the other rooms look onto the large, pleasant inner courtyard. This has the feel of a typical German family-run or private hotel.

Check-in was super quick and easy, and the staff were friendly and spoke English. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, while the bathroom was clean and had everything needed. Breakfast was generous, WiFi was free and good, and there were several parking spaces around the hotel. Good value for the price.

A great fit for business travel or a visit to the Rheingau. The hotel is very comfortable, has a top-notch restaurant, and still keeps a welcoming family atmosphere with genuine hospitality.

The rooms are on the small side, but nice, and the bathroom is great. Breakfast was good even during Corona times, and the staff were very friendly.
