10/10
The room was roomy and had been renovated recently, and the breakfast buffet had what we needed to get the day started. We also ate at the Italian restaurant across the way, where the food was delicious and typically Italian. Marcelo, the owner, was great to chat with. The hotel sits among trees, nature, and horses in a peaceful, rather remote spot. If you like being surrounded by nature, waking up to those sounds is wonderful. I’d recommend it without hesitation.

The beds were comfortable, the shower was great, and the Wi-Fi was fine. The room was cleaned every day, though there was no Do Not Disturb sign. There are no network sockets for plugging in, and I would have liked USB ports by the bed, even though the regular plugs worked. There’s no iron or ironing board either. The TV felt small, but I only used it now and then. The nearest shop is a 20-minute walk or a 5-minute drive away.

The pizza place across the street is good, and the rooms were nice. We found this place by chance. I wish the hotel bar stayed open longer, especially in summer.

The forest setting is really peaceful, but breakfast was disappointing. The scrambled eggs were terrible, and the pillow was very uncomfortable.

It’s a standard hotel, and there wasn’t anything else particularly wrong with it. The rooms are basic, the Wi-Fi is poor, and it’s a long way from the city.
