Appartment Bella Italia

A good fit for us since we were out from morning until late evening. The fully equipped apartments give you peace, independence, and the option to cook for yourself. Reception and check-in went smoothly, and the orientation was fine too. Highly recommended. (4-22)

The staff were very attentive, and the rooms were clean. We used the apartment just to sleep after a day at Phantasialand, which was about 15 minutes away by car. One thing we didn’t like was having to leave a cleaning deposit and follow rules for tidying and cleaning before checkout. Still, when we left, the person in charge checked the apartment and returned the deposit right then.

A handy bonus is the delicious ice cream shop nearby. The hostess was very friendly, and the room was clean. It wasn’t very big, but it was comfortable and had enough space.

The street construction made arrival confusing, and it would have been helpful to get a notice beforehand. That wasn’t the landlady’s fault, though, and everything worked out perfectly in the end. We booked through Booking.com. The price was adjusted down on site because one traveler couldn’t come, while we had a dog with us. They did this automatically, which was very nice. The apartment was super clean, and there was a clear checklist of what to do before leaving. The landlady seems quite fussy, as the Booking.com description also says, but I see that as a positive. I wouldn’t want guests leaving a mess either, so the deposit seems justified. I came away with a very positive impression.
