Buntes Haus

The apartments are in a picturesque part of Erfurt beside the canal, where you can spot fish and herons and enjoy the medieval architecture. From there, it’s a short walk through these interesting places to the city center. A supermarket just 100 meters away and a well-equipped kitchen made it easy to cook whenever we wanted. We stayed in a ground-floor apartment and still fondly remember our time there. The building itself is a city landmark. We’re already dreaming of another trip soon and a stay at Buntes House in Erfurt. Warm congratulations on the wonderful holiday of Christmas and the New Year. The outside and stairwell have a rather unusual look, as you can see, but the attic apartment was furnished very nicely. It was quiet, and parking was right outside the door. We had everything we needed and a very good stay.

I had booked two more nights, but the landlord’s main concern seemed to be getting me out of the apartment early. He said he didn’t want my money. Once he saw on the entrance camera that I was leaving, the full amount was charged to my Booking.com account. He also monitors day visitors with cameras there, just one of several issues. He was outrageous, brushed off complaints, and wouldn’t fix anything. Never again. Stay away from this guy!
