We bought two cartons and a jar of honey, and parking was right in front of the tasting area. Prices seemed quite reasonable. The lady of the house did her best to make us comfortable while we tried several kinds of wine. They also offer Obstbrände, honey, and jams. She suggested we try the guest houses sometime.

Mother and daughter served us a lovely, generous breakfast at our table, and the daughter shared tips on places to see nearby. The family running the winery were truly welcoming and hospitable. We had a spacious, clean room, with a balcony view of the church tower where a pair of kestrels had their young. Our e-bikes could be stored and charged in a garage, and we parked the car in the courtyard. The winery sits right by the Main Cycle Path, with Würzburg nearby. We had two delicious meals by the Main in charming Veitshöchheim, and visited the beautiful palace and court gardens. Erlabrunn also has plenty of good food. The wines were delicious and easy to drink, so we took some home. Our short break at the Blass Winery was a complete success.

I stopped in just to buy wine, and they gave me excellent advice and even let me pick a glass to taste. Such friendly people and a really lovely experience. I'll definitely be back!

All the wines were excellent, and this time the Silvaner was my favorite. We loved the tasting and I'm looking forward to discovering more.

The bus stops right outside, with a direct ride to Würzburg train station and a walk into town from there. We had a comfortable apartment with a kitchen, and everything was great. The hosts gave us such a warm welcome and were absolutely lovely. The wine was delicious too :) We'd happily stay again.
