Hotel Stadthaus

The location is perfect, right in the clean, lovely city center. My room was spotless, the bedding very comfortable, and I appreciated the green printed materials, soaps, and bathroom linens. The staff member on duty in the morning was courteous, efficient, and pleasant. Normally I’d have rated both the room and service a five, but the wood floor treatment smelled so strong that I had to open every window. Then the city noise kept me awake until 3 a.m. The online service needs updating too. The advertised €9 parking option is no longer available, and the breakfast selection option didn’t work properly. I’d still recommend the hotel, but ask in advance about the floor treatment, parking, and breakfast.

A clean, small hotel with small rooms, suited to a quick business trip if you’re not expecting much luxury. The breakfast is very basic, with limited choice, and you can hear people talking in other rooms. For the price, though, it’s very clean. Thanks for the reply. I actually had a comfort room and could still hear other guests talking. It wasn’t a big deal, but seemed worth mentioning.

Quiet, modern, and well cared for, with a great location. A stylish little boutique hotel.

A nice little hotel right in Erlangen city. The breakfast is very good, though the rooms can sometimes be a little noisy.
