The location is residential, so you may hear children now and then, but traffic is barely noticeable and there's lots of parking. A bakery about 200m away gave me vouchers this time, and Kaufland is roughly 400m from Med Apart. When they were full, they even rang me as soon as a room opened up. I travel to Erlangen for work often, and Med Apart is still my first pick. The apartments are lovely and have everything I need. For me, nowhere else in Erlangen matches the value for money.

Really well located, and my top pick for apartments in Erlangen. I'd book here for either a short or a long stay.

The price was good, and the staff were kind and helpful. My room felt comfortable overall and was very clean, though a little extra space would have been nice. The main drawback was the poor airflow. Nights felt too hot and humid, even with mild weather.

The staff are friendly and nice, and the rooms come with good equipment. Still, the rooms feel dated and worn, and could use a modern look. During my 15-day stay, the hot water went out twice with no warning beforehand. That really shouldn't happen.

Coming back from town, the cigarette smell was there again. I noticed it after work too, even after airing the room by opening the window, and I suspect it was coming through the ventilation. There were some good points: the room was clean and spacious, the bed comfortable, the internet very fast, and the balcony was nice. You could also shut the window shades completely. The furniture looked a bit old, but seemed fair for the price. The kitchenette had a drip coffee maker with a broken button, so I could only use it as a filter holder. The kitchen knife was extremely blunt. The hotel's online feedback form only allows 254 characters, which is why I'm leaving my comments here.
