Mrs. Haberkern is a wonderfully kind hostess. Whenever I’m in the area, this is my first choice: the rooms are spacious, clean, and still look freshly renovated.

I slept better than I have in a long time, and would gladly come back anytime. It’s a lovely little guesthouse, run with care. The rooms are clean and spacious, the owner welcomes guests warmly, and breakfast has everything you could want.

The Haberkern family were so friendly and accommodating, and we felt completely at home. Our room was large and beautifully furnished, and breakfast was good and plentiful. During our wine weekend, we enjoyed a tasty meal with vegetarian options prepared especially for me. The vineyard hike was interesting, the area is well worth seeing, and the wine tasting was a perfect end to the day. I highly recommend a wine weekend at Pension Haberkern.

The location is lovely, and it’s easy to explore the surrounding area. The rooms have been modernized nicely, though it’s certainly not a Michelin-starred hotel. I can’t comment on breakfast since I don’t eat it.
