We're here for the third time, and it's cozy, very child-friendly, and close to the dike. The beach is a quick bike ride away, and there's room to store bikes in the garage. There's something new each visit, with more plans posted in the hallway. We're looking forward to it...
The apartment was clean and in good order. A couple of things could be better: the room is separated only by a curtain, and a door would make more sense, especially for keeping noise down. Also, the large bed needs a large fitted sheet, which hadn't been mentioned.
We were 14 people and rented the whole house over Easter. All five apartments were clean and very well equipped, and everything we needed was there. The barbecue area was spotless and welcoming too. We'd love to come back. Many thanks to the owner and the team who look after the house.
Such a nice apartment for a first North Sea holiday with a toddler. It was thoughtfully furnished for a family stay, with lovely details. We'll come back next year when the little one can walk 😄
We rented the whole house for a family Easter holiday, from March 23, 2024 to April 1, 2024. The apartments were well equipped, especially for families: high chairs, child toilet seats, travel cots, toys, and more. The kitchen had what we needed, though a food cupboard would have helped, since we had to use the living room cupboard. Two handcarts were available in the garage for trips to the beach. We used the new barbecue area twice, and it could easily feed up to 15 people at a time. There was a washing machine, but the dryer cost €2. Some instructions on the inside of the door would have helped, since we had to figure it out by trial and error. We also found that the dish drainer in the Norway apartment was very dirty, and food scraps were still on the grater. We had to wash both in the dishwasher before using them, and this should have been caught during cleaning. One other thing was frustrating: the apartments were empty before and after our stay, but no one told us the usual arrival and departure times didn't matter in our case. It was a rush to leave everything swept and the dishwasher empty by 10 a.m. The apartments were fairly expensive, though the electric shutters and fireplace were nice features that residents will probably appreciate in autumn and winter.
