The food was really good, with excellent products and great value for money. The place itself was excellent too. The service was helpful and active. I'd recommend going!

We stopped here on the spur of the moment because Stürhuus was closed even though we'd reserved, so we came in without any expectations. The food tasted great 😋, though I suspect some of it was convenience food. One man was running the restaurant, and he was friendly and attentive. We also liked the quiet outdoor seating area. A lovely experience overall.

We went to Deichklause twice while on holiday, and it was busy both times. The staff were friendly, the wait was short, and the food came promptly and was excellent. The onion schnitzel with fried potatoes was a particular favorite. We'd happily return on our next trip to Bensersiel.

On my first visit, I had a delicious cod dish. The food was great, and many dishes are available as senior portions. It's rustic inside but well maintained. We'll definitely be back.
