The apartment was cramped, especially the bedrooms, for two adults and two children on a week-long stay. Hot water was another problem. If you want a warm shower in the morning, you may have to wait until the afternoon. The furnishings could use improvement too. And the cleaning was dreadful: chlorine cleaner was poured in, leaving a smell that lingered for three days, while cobwebs remained in every corner. There were old used socks on the balcony, and dust and dirt all over and inside the cupboards. We won’t stay again. There are much better rentals for this price.

Even in hot weather, the apartment stays nice and cool. It’s very nice, and we’ll be back. The bedroom is tiny, though, so it doesn’t really suit a family with small children. The travel cot would need to go in the living room.

Everything you need is in this lovely, clean apartment, which is set in the middle of a large holiday complex. You can walk to everything nearby. I’d say it’s suitable for up to 3 people.

We always enjoy staying here, and this visit was just as lovely. The bedroom is a little small, though still comfortable. We’ll be back. Best wishes from the Hallay family in Haltern am See 👍
