The apartment was spotless, and everyone was very friendly. It’s practically furnished and right beside the North Sea thermal baths, with everything else within walking distance.

The location is central, with six pleasant holiday apartments and a lovely, well-kept garden. The apartments are standard in size and amenities. The Wi-Fi, though, is unusably slow and unreliable.

We left after two days because the smell of fabric softener in the bed linen and towels was unbearable. It made two of us have breathing problems, and the whole house smelled of it. Such a disappointment. The owner should look into whether this is acceptable and hold the cleaning staff accountable. The small house has three units, and we did get a friendly welcome and a quick introduction to the apartment, but that only went so far.

The owners were very friendly, and the holiday apartment was fantastic. Its garden is beautifully laid out and well maintained.
