We especially enjoyed the barbecue hut, the huge dining table, and that ingenious double coffee machine. The kitchen had everything we needed for a big group. The weather was bad while we were there, so we couldn't make much use of the lovely outdoor area. Still, this was a great holiday home for four generations, from the great-grandparents to the little ones, and everyone felt at home.

The landlords were friendly, and our security deposit came back promptly. Shopping is about 5 km away, and you can get everything you need there. The house is well equipped inside and out for both good and bad weather, making it an excellent place for up to six parties to spend a few days in the fresh air and lovely surroundings.

We felt incredibly comfortable here. The owner was friendly and easy to deal with, and the place was spotless and tastefully furnished, with everything we could need. A highly recommended holiday home for up to 14 people, whether you're planning a short break or a longer stay in the Sauerland region.

The outdoor area was lovely, with a volleyball court, trampoline, and fire pit. Everything was clean, and the hosts were very nice. We had perfect summer weather with our group of 18 and a wonderful time. We'd love to return.

Landhaus Mettenberg is a lovely big house, and the manager was very friendly. The forest is easy to get to, which is perfect for hiking. I really enjoyed a family holiday here and would come back.
