We'd happily return. The owners are very friendly, and special requests are no problem. In summer, sitting outside is lovely. The homemade food is good, and the clean rooms have everything you need.

We were there September 21-23, 2020. The hosts were very friendly, and our clean, spacious room had everything we needed. Breakfast was made to order, and the food was delicious. Great value, highly recommended!

The neglected outdoor area sums up a stay that looked much better online. I chose not to eat at the hotel restaurant. There are some practical upsides. Parking is plentiful, including space for vans and vehicles with trailers. The TV is a decent size, and the supplied fan helped with the summer heat. The road is quiet at night, so I could sleep with the window open. My room was spacious and looked clean. The bathroom, though, is tiny, especially around the shower. Its corner entrance is so narrow that bending down to retrieve spilled shower gel is difficult. There's little storage, and the shower rail was close to falling off. The toilet flush barely handled even small spills in one go. The ventilation seems to connect to the kitchen exhaust, in my room and apparently the ones next door too. It brought in a smell like fish sticks fried in old oil. The fan only ran if I left the light on all night, and that overpowering smell was back by the time I returned the next day. A bathroom sticker says to leave used towels on the floor for fresh ones, as at other hotels. Here, staff picked them up, smoothed them out and hung them back up. Toothpaste marks made that pretty clear. The mattress felt like quicksand, with a sagging hollow that I sank into. My physiotherapist can look forward to the extra work straightening my back. And if a guest wants freshly made-up food the next day, they'll have to make it themselves. The eight-euro breakfast buffet was very limited. If you're there early, you get a slightly better choice, like a planned economy where that's all there is. Staff weren't especially friendly. They told guests they were overworked and didn't enjoy their jobs, which makes a career change seem worth considering.
