One of the best restaurants I've eaten at in North Rhine-Westphalia, truly phenomenal. Our server took our allergies seriously and suggested food and wine pairings. I'd especially recommend it if you have gluten or dairy allergies!

The breakfast was good, with lots of choices, and our room was clean and tidy, if a little dated. The bed was comfortable, but that doesn't help much when noise keeps you awake. There's a bowling alley, and the noise was ridiculous. Staff said it would stop at 11 pm, but it went on until midnight, followed by a loud party until 1 am. If you can get a room on the left side on the first floor, maybe it's not a bad hotel. I would have given it four stars otherwise.

The only good part of the stay was dinner at the restaurant. Check-in and checkout were far from friendly, and for what I paid, too many things were wrong. The bowling alley caused noise until 11 pm. Breakfast had no fresh coffee or vegetables, and apples were the only fruit. On the second day, there was no brown bread left by 9 am, and they didn't replenish it. I wouldn't book here.

The setting is beautiful, the hotel rooms are spacious, and the shower is very good. The restaurant is superb, with incredible food and wonderful service. Highly recommended.
