Bei Rothkopfs

The WiFi didn't work, and at 7.30pm the restaurant kitchen was already closed. The hotel's parking area is very limited and was full, and finding a spot on the street was difficult. It was 0C outside and nearly snowing, but the room was very cold. The radiator there was locked at a very low setting and kept switching on and off; the bathroom radiator didn't work at all. I couldn't work at the desk with my computer and had to go to bed instead. There was a large cupboard but no spare blankets, pillows, towels, or anything else, so I had to ask for an extra blanket. This didn't feel like a 3 star hotel to me, more like a hostel charging 3 star hotel prices.

My friends and I stayed inside for hours because it felt so cozy. The waitresses were lovely and knew their work, and the service was really good. I enjoyed the food, which looked good and tasted great, and it was very filling. For the portion size and quality of both the food and service, the price seemed quite reasonable.

There's no air conditioning, and the hotel feels quite worn. Still, the staff are very friendly, the breakfast is superb, and the WiFi is good and free.

The staff were helpful and pleasant, and breakfast was okay. The hotel itself looked like something from an 80s movie. See the photos.
