Motel Zur Festwiese

The smell and amount of mold during my August 2025 stay were hard to put into words. There were what looked like mold spores in the shower, so much that you could practically comb through them. When we complained, they called them “mildew stains.” Proper cleaning would have prevented those stains, and so would airing and cleaning the room regularly. We left after one night, having barely slept because of the sharp mold smell. A family member had also died. Before breakfast, we were horrified by the condition of the room. The staff didn't speak German, and after we complained, we got no refund. They ignored the complaint and sent only a rude email saying we could have moved to another room, even though the one we'd been given already smelled terrible. We'd lost the money, but at least we stayed healthy. Stay away from this motel if you value your life and health.
