There’s plenty to enjoy here, from the great facilities to the lovely, wide stretch of sand. It can feel a little deserted in winter, but I still think it’s worth visiting.

I stopped off on Fehmarn during a trip to Rügen. The place was modern, tidy, and very well organized.

We make this an annual trip. It's wonderful to switch off and enjoy the beach without Wi-Fi for a change, though there is Wi-Fi there if you need it.
