The sauna was a real treat, and the wood-burning stove made the living room especially cozy. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom spacious, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The house was spotless and fulfilled what Annelie and Carsten Thomsen-Detlefs promised on their website. It’s a lovely semi-detached house of about 85 sq m, with a garden, terrace, private beach chair, and more. From the back window we watched dozens of wild rabbits, and we saw deer on the way to the bicycle and woodshed, where firewood is free. Pure nature and joy. Vitzdorf is peaceful, but Burg’s lively town center is only a few minutes away by car. The house is accessible apart from one step and works well for older guests or those with limited mobility. We’d love to return; it was pure relaxation.

We could see a little wildlife park of fallow deer, rabbits, and pheasants from the window in the mornings, and Burg and the cliffs were only 15 minutes away by bike. The landlord was very friendly, and the apartment was spacious, bright, and furnished to a high standard. We stayed as a couple in the living room with the fireplace in the main house, and the fireplace worked perfectly. As mentioned, nothing was lacking. If we come back to Fehmarn, this will be our first choice. Best regards, the Walter family

The house was dog-friendly and had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen, a lovely large-shower bathroom, sauna, wood-burning stove, and a steady supply of firewood. It was modern, very clean, and beautiful, and the owners were warm and friendly. We spent a week there and couldn’t have asked for more. Many thanks to the Thomsen family - Detlefs.

We parents and our adult children felt completely at ease in holiday home Pelle. The furnishings impressed us, and the house was exceptionally well maintained, as was the still-working farm. If we built and furnished a holiday home ourselves, I can’t think of what we’d improve. Our exceptionally friendly landlords helped make it such a wonderful holiday, and we’ll be happy to return.
