We felt comfortable in this lovely house, and Fehmarn itself is beautiful and not overcrowded. The location is very quiet, the water is a 10-minute walk away, and the neighbor was friendly and quick to help. Shopping does require a car. The bread delivery was a nice touch, though it's unfortunately being discontinued. A few things bothered us. The rough dining table is hard to wipe clean, and one of the four bedrooms is extremely small. There's no TV in the living room, and the sofa isn't big enough for all eight of us to sit comfortably. The online description was misleading about which parts of the house have which features: the sauna is on one side, while the pool and enclosed garden are on the other. The sauna is low, and its light didn't work during our stay. Some areas weren't clean enough, with cobwebs around. We would have liked more basic supplies, including towels, dish towels, dishwasher tablets, toilet paper, bins in the rooms, and bin bags. The bed linens weren't made up either, so we had to strip them ourselves. Fly screens on the windows would be very helpful. All in all, it's a nice house, but for the price we expected a bit more.

Everything about the stay felt easy. Check-in and checkout were incredibly simple, and the communication was friendly and pleasant. The house was spotless, modern, and beautifully furnished in a country style, with lots of thoughtful details. It had everything we could need. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would definitely return and recommend it.

A lovely house, furnished with great taste, and well equipped with plenty of kitchen utensils and appliances. You can walk to the pebble beach quite easily. For the trip to Grünen Brink, though, I’d recommend taking a bike.

Susanne was like the house’s fairy godmother, always there if we needed bread rolls or ran out of coffee. We felt as if we were staying with friends. Nicole had prepared everything so thoughtfully, and the place was cozy and lovingly furnished, a real home away from home. We even got lucky with an early check-in, and received lots of tips about the island.
