The kids loved being part of life on the farm, from time with the ponies and horses to a paddleboard tournament and even a spontaneous water fight. Clemens and Annika are warm, fun hosts who put real care into everything. We’d never been this far north before, and had such a lovely holiday at the Inselhof. Greetings from Bavaria, we’d happily come again 😉

There’s so much for children to do here, with go-karts, climbing frames, football goals, a trampoline and a bouncy castle, and horseback riding is a big hit too. The hosts are genuinely helpful and friendly, and you can feel how much they care about the farm. We felt at home from our first visit. It’s an ideal family holiday spot, and we’ll definitely return. Highly recommend it.

There was always something happening, from the kids’ twice-daily riding to animal feeding by arrangement, plus stick bread and barbecue evenings. The farm has horses, alpacas, chickens, guinea pigs, goats and more. Clemens and Annika are lovely hosts who know guests by name and are available throughout the day to listen to people of all ages. The holiday apartments come in different sizes and have well-equipped kitchens for self-catering, with a gas grill outside. The big play barn has a trampoline, slide, pool table, air hockey and ball pit, plus a fully automatic coffee machine guests can use for free. There’s also a large playground. Highly recommended.

The new bathrooms in the old farmhouse look lovely and are cleaned every day. The tennis court is a little dated but still usable, while the brand new padel court is state of the art. If you play tennis, book a lesson with Rolf, who lives by the courts. He may look a bit quirky, but he’s very good, understanding and affordable. Clemens and Annika make you feel like you’re visiting friends, even on your first stay. They’re kind, welcoming and always ready to help without seeming annoyed. There are loads of things to do with Clemens, from pony rides and padel to tennis and even swimming in two metre waves. The parents won’t get bored either. Highly recommended.
