We spent our days exploring Fehmarn and wound down in the evenings after a really good meal. There’s plenty to do around the island, along with lots of great places to eat. We were a couple traveling with our adult son, and the family suite worked well: he had a separate bedroom with a single bed, while we had a lovely room with a balcony looking out over the Baltic Sea. The location was perfect for us, and the service and food were excellent. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back. Fehmarn is a hidden gem.

The breakfast buffet was stunning for a hotel, with everything you could want. Our room was clean and spacious, with a beautiful sea view, and the hotel’s right on the beach. Parking costs 5€/day. It’s an ideal place for a weekend away or a longer visit.

I can’t speak to the hotel itself, but my experience with the restaurant was awful. I ordered a cheeseburger for my daughter and they brought out a raw steak between two black buns. When I said I’d asked for a regular burger, the manager told me I still had to pay for it. The other dishes weren’t prepared well either, and one example was that they were too salty.

The view over the Ostsee (Baltic Sea) is excellent, and the reception and staff were friendly. Parking was convenient and free. The internet worked reliably, though it wasn’t very fast, and no password was needed. Nice hotel, although it was much too windy outside.

The staff were friendly, efficient, helpful, and accommodating. We also enjoyed the restaurant, especially the great breakfast buffet. A beautiful location.
