September is our regular time for staying at holiday apartment Fernblick, Stranddistelweg 54, on the 3rd floor by the south beach. We go back every year and usually stay for 10 to 14 days.

There’s plenty to enjoy here, from the great facilities to the lovely, wide stretch of sand. It can feel a little deserted in winter, but I still think it’s worth visiting.

Good parking and lots of room make this my favorite beach on Fehmarn.

I stopped off on Fehmarn during a trip to Rügen. The place was modern, tidy, and very well organized.

We make this an annual trip. It's wonderful to switch off and enjoy the beach without Wi-Fi for a change, though there is Wi-Fi there if you need it.
