We spent a week here with friends, and the motorbikes could be kept in the garage, which came in handy with the changeable weather. Patrick Hermann was a lovely host as well as a great cook. It was our fourth year in the Schwartzwald area, and his food was easily the best we’d had here. He always made something special for the vegetarian in our group. We had a great time at Gasthaus Zum Engel and will definitely come back.

The food was really tasty, and the place was clean. The owner was very nice, and the location in Fischerbach is hard to beat.
