The apartment itself was fine, though the Wi-Fi in one unit was unreliable. The trouble came after checkout. The owners said a window in one of the two apartments we rented was broken and asked us to pay. We hadn't seen it, and only learned from the photos that the damage was on the outside, high up and partly hidden behind a blind we never raised all the way. We explained that we hadn't caused it or known about it, but they kept pressing us to cover the cost. After two polite, clear messages saying we would not pay for damage we hadn't caused, they dropped the request. They never replied to those messages, which felt unprofessional, and we still don't know why they assumed we were responsible. The outside was accessible to anyone, and the damage was too high up to be somewhere a passerby would accidentally bump into. This was our second stay, a year after an enjoyable first visit, but the whole episode made this one stressful and unpleasant. We can't recommend the place when guests may be asked to pay for unexplained damage outside the house. We won't be back.

There are bus stops right outside, which helps, because the road into the center is the one drawback. The place itself is lovely and roomy, with modern facilities, comfortable beds, and everything in good shape.

The owners were friendly and helpful, and I liked how easy the recycling area made it to sort waste. Inside, the decor and furnishings fit together nicely, with plenty of thoughtful details, and the kitchen had a great range of equipment. Just a couple of small things could be improved: adding fly screens and a shower head.

We felt so at ease here and would happily recommend it. The apartment was lovely, furnished and decorated beautifully, and very well equipped. It even had the basics like dish soap, hand soap, salt, and pepper, so there was no dash to the supermarket after arriving. If we return to Florida, this will be our first choice. THANK YOU!

The only thing I'd have liked is insect screens. We had barely set out breakfast before wasps showed up. Otherwise, the nearby shops weren't noisy, and the apartment was clean with modern furnishings. When we had a question, someone answered quickly and fully. I can't say whether it was a staff member or the owner, but the person who greeted us was friendly and helpful right away. If we're in the area again, we'll book here.
