The cooked hot breakfast was excellent, and the rooms were spacious, spotless, and finished to a high standard. Comfortable furnishings, a sensible layout, modern decor, and carefully equipped bathrooms all added to the comfort. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, from the warm welcome and flexible early check-in onward. Nothing seemed too much trouble. I've stayed in hotels around the world, and few have matched this level of service. One of my best hotel stays, and I'd gladly return and recommend it.

The bar area was fine, but the fitness room was a little below average. The hotel itself is showing its age, and for the price I expected more.

We took a cruise, and it was a really pleasant trip, especially this time of year. The hotel is well placed near the river, with a good breakfast of hot food, bread, drinks, and tea. Our room and bathroom were clean. The only concern was noise at night if you open a window facing the street. The police office is next door.

We had a quiet night in our inward-facing room, and it was clean with a spacious bathroom. The hotel is close to both the harbor and the shops, and we had dinner there: two courses, wine, and an after-dinner drink came to less than EUR 150, which was very reasonable. Breakfast was good, though EUR 20 per person felt a bit pricey. Parking in a nearby garage cost EUR 15 for 24 hours. I'd stay here again.
