Our room was spotlessly clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, too. The hotel is near the harbour, with shops and restaurants an easy walk away. The windows were the problem: neither had curtains, and just one had a half blind. It never got dark enough for me to sleep comfortably without a sleep mask, which I hadn't brought.

The room was clean, though its furnishings and equipment were very old. The hotel is basically in the city center, and breakfast was really good. Service was very good both at breakfast and at reception.

Our car broke down 100 km from the hotel, so we couldn't make it there. When I called, the hotel showed no understanding of what had happened and refused to refund us. A really awful experience. Choose somewhere else to stay.

The staff were friendly, and both the service and central location were fine. Breakfast was great. My room, however, faced Seagull hubs outside the window, and I heard them screaming "all night long". I couldn't sleep at all, and it was a terrible night. Nobody was at fault, but make sure you get a room on the other side of the building.

The location is the one good thing, and it's why I'm giving two stars. I paid much more than nearby prices, thinking perhaps the higher cost meant it would be worth it. The mattress was so worn that after a while I sank into a V shape. After two nights, I had serious back pain. Breakfast was below standard, and I skipped it entirely on the second day.
