There’s a really spacious sun terrace, and the street outside is quiet with very little traffic. The apartment itself has plenty of room, with a small living room, TV, two-seater sofa, and armchair. I liked finding games in the cupboard, including one we hadn't played in ages, SOS Monkey Alert. The bathroom was clean and had a new toothbrush in its wrapper, soap, and towels. Upstairs is a little kitchen with a table and folding chairs, really only big enough for two. Coffee and tea were already there, which was thoughtful. The oven was broken during our stay, but the stove and other appliances worked. The bedroom has a double bed, a single bed, a crib, and a wardrobe. The bed was okay for us, if a bit soft. The main problem was the lack of blinds. One window has nothing covering it, and the Velux curtain on the skylight doesn't reach the edges, so lots of light gets in. The door has frosted glass, too, so light from the kitchen opposite comes through. That wasn't good for light-sensitive sleepers, especially with Flensburg getting light so early this time of year. That's why I took off one star. Otherwise, a great apartment!

We'd happily stay here again. The maisonette is lovely, clean, and thoughtfully furnished, with a large balcony. It's in a quiet spot, with shops and restaurants nearby, and the landlord was friendly and helpful.

A really relaxing place, with the sea and shops both close by.
